<p>Sania Mirza ended her career with six Grand Slam titles after failing to win the Australian Open mixed doubles trophy with Rohan Bopanna. </p>

<p>Sania and Bopanna lost 6-7(2), 2-6 to Brazilian pair of Luisa Stefani and Rafael Mataos in the final at Rod Laver Arena. </p>

<p>Coming into her final Major tournament, Sania had three women’s doubles and as many mixed doubles trophies in her cabinet. </p>

<p>Out of Sania’s six Grand Slams title, three are mixed doubles trophies two of which she won with Mahesh Bhupathi. </p>

<p>Sania’s all three women’s doubles titles came with Swiss great Martina Hingis. </p>

<p>In 2009, Sania picked up her first Australian Open mixed doubles Grand Slam title. </p>

<p>Partnering with Mahesh Bhupathi, Sania beat Nathalie Dechy and Andy Ram in the final.</p>

<p>Sania and Bhupathi won the 2012 French Open mixed doubles crown.</p>

<p>Sania and Bhupathi defeated Santiago González of Mexico and Klaudia Jans-Ignacik of Poland.</p>

<p>Sania won the third mixed doubles Grand Slam title in her career at the 2014 US Open.</p>

<p>Sania and Bruno Soares beat Abigail Spears and Santiago González in the final. </p>

<p>Sania and Hingis won the 2015 Wimbledon Championships, defeating Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in three tough sets in the final. </p>

<p>The win gave Sania her first Grand Slam title in Women’s Doubles and Hingis her tenth.</p>

<p>Sania and Hingis won the 2015 US Open title defeating Casey Dellacqua and Yaroslava Shvedova in the finals. </p>

<p>This was the top seeded pair’s second straight Grand Slam title after Wimbledon and they did not lose a set throughout the fortnight. </p>

<p>Sania and Hingis defeated Andrea Hlavácková and Lucie Hradecká in the final. </p>

<p>Sania is due to retire from all tennis after a tournament next month in Dubai, where she has lived for more than a decade. </p>
