The Crew Motorfest Trailer Teases High-Speed Racing In Hawaii, Release Date Set For September

After it was first announced back in January, Ubisoft has officially unveiled The Crew Motorfest, the next chapter in its racing game series.

Alongside a brand-new CG trailer shared during the Ubisoft Forward showcase, The Crew Motorfest also got an official release date of September 14 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Like the previous game, The Crew Motorfest is all about speed, as you’ll be able to take part in races using cars, boats, and several other vehicles.

Set on the island of O’ahu in the Hawaiian archipelago, The Crew Motorfest being developed by Ivory Tower. The brand-new trailer showcases new environments and stunning vistas, and this time around, players can choose and customize their rides with “the most diverse lineups” of vehicles so far. Playlists are another main feature of Motorfest, which are presented in a campaign-like structure for different racing types and themes.

“From the Lamborghini Revuelto to the Toyota Supra, Hummer EV, or Porsche Taycan Turbo S, get prepared to drive hundreds of vehicles in the ultimate car playground,” the official trailer teases.

A summer showcase has also been confirmed for later this year, when fans will be provided with more details. Preorders are now available and players can unlock the Toyota GR Supra 2021 LBWK Edition at launch. They’ll also be able to play the full game three days early if they purchase the Gold or Ultimate edition.

Similar to Microsoft’s recent Forza Horizon games, The Crew Motorfest has a distinct festival vibe in its Hawaiian locale, and driving can be done in both first-person and third-person perspectives. Video footage of the game leaked well ahead of its Ubisoft Forward debut, although those videos were very quickly taken down by the publisher. This is the third game in The Crew series, and it follows the original 2014 game and 2018’s The Crew 2.
