The Division Day: Everything You Need to Know About the New Additions to the Popular Ubisoft Franchise

As part of The Division Day showcase, developers behind the Ubisoft franchise revealed what fans can expect to see in the upcoming year.

The event showcased fans will get as part of the franchise, which includes titles like The Division 2, and upcoming titles like The Division: Heartland and The Division: Resurgence.

Developers unveil Year 5 Roadmap for The Division 2

The Division 2 will soon enter its fifth year, which will begin with Season One: Broken Wings. The upcoming season will introduce a new game mode called Descent. It is a rogue-lite for teams of up to four players, who begin each match without any gear, perks, or specializations. They then will have to work their way up through the ranks. Season One will begin in June 2023.

Following that, Season 2: Puppeteers will introduce a “challenging” Incursion, which will take players to the Meret Estate for a confrontation with the Cleaners. Season 3: Vanguard will bring players to New York for the Holidays, with new information regarding Aaron Keener and his Rogues. Finally, in Season 4: Black Diamond, Ubisoft will bring about a new Story DLC with new main missions, zones, and endgame structure.

Each season will include new manhunts, leagues, and events. The developers confirmed that most seasonal content will require The Warlords of New York expansion. However, Descent will be free-to-play for all agents, and they can check it out from April 21, as part of the game’s public test server.

The Division: Resurgence receives Summer 2023 test phase

The Division franchise will expand with Resurgence, an upcoming mobile title for Android and iOS devices. The game features an entirely new storyline, which delves deeper into the events of the franchise’s events with new characters, factions, and more.

While no details of the game’s release have been revealed, the developers have shared information of a new test phase, which begins in Summer 2023. Interested users can sign up for the game through Resurgence’s official website.

New cinematic footage of The Division: Heartland

At The Division Day 2023, Ubisoft unveiled cinematic footage of its upcoming title, Heartland. Footage of the upcoming free-to-play PvEvP, survival-action shooter reveals the game’s setting of Silver Creek, a “mysterious town” in the Midwestern.

The rural setting gives a much-needed change to the franchise, and it will heavily focus on survival in the day and battling AI and player factions at night. In the event, the developers showcased a bit of gameplay to showcase what fans can expect from the game.

The game will enter a closed beta later this year, and players can sign up for it through the official The Division: Heartland website.
