The Flash Director Andy Muschietti Teases Involvement in Upcoming Batman: The Brave and the Bold
As The Flash is about to hit theatres, director Andy Muschietti teases his involvement in the upcoming Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The movie will be a part of the DC Universe reboot under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Gunn. It now looks like the director of the closing film of the Snyderverse might just be brought back to the next chapter of the new DC Universe.
Andy Muschietti might have been roped in to direct upcoming Batman movie
The Flash (2023) director Andy Muschietti was interviewed by Narcity Canada’s Josh K. Elliot during a promotion for his upcoming movie. Here he was asked what kind of a “spin” on the character of Batman would he want to go for if he got to direct a Batman: The Brave and the Bold. To which, he straight up refused to answer the question. He said, “Oh, I don’t think I can talk to that, yet.”
It’s definitely suspicious that the director would refuse to respond to a hypothetical scenario. The best-case scenario that one can think of is it in fact isn’t just a hypothetical question for Muschietti. Maybe he has indeed been roped in to direct the movie, which we can expect to soon be revealed, irrespective of whether it is Muschietti.
As for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, co-CEO of DC Universe James Gunn revealed the movie earlier this year in January as a part of their new 8-to-10-year plan. He introduced the movie as “the story of Batman and his actual son, Damien Wayne”, and the beginning of the Bat-family of the DCU.
Nothing much of the cast and crew of Batman: The Brave and the Bold has been revealed yet, but Andy Muschietti’s cryptic response might have just changed that.
