Yes, you heard that right, The Last of Us, along with Uncharted and God of War is in the list of $1 billion PlayStation franchises, according to Michael Mumbauer’s experience section on his LinkedIn profile (via Exputer). Mumbauer previously worked as the Studio Head / Senior Director of Visual Arts at PlayStation.

Players should know that Mumbauer’s profile states that he was last involved with PlayStation in 2020, with his last project with them being The Last of Us Part II. Seeing that The Last of Us and the others had already hit the $1 billion mark back in 2020, their present numbers could be much more than that. Pedro Pascal was “Scared” to Play Joel

On the topic of The Last of Us, Pedro Pascal, the Mandalorian actor who is also renowned for his captivating portrayal of Joel in the new HBO adaptation, revealed some interesting details about his performance.

In the recent THR Drama Actor Roundtable, Pascal stated that it was “totally scary” to take on the role of Joel in The Last of Us series. He added that he was “so scared”, as there was an “exposed silhouette of coolness maybe” and unsurmountable expectations from the franchise’s fanbase. He further stated that he didn’t want to disappoint people and wanted them to like him in that role.
