The Last of Us: Pedro Pascal Has Just Discovered How the First Game Ends, Leaving Him in Awe

The Last of Us TV series’ Pedro Pascal recently sat down with The Walking Dead star Steven Yeun and found out about the ending of the first game. Steven Yeun described to Pedro Pascal how it was like to play the ending of The Last of Us Part 1 and it’s fair to say that Pascal was amazed to find it out. Both Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey who play the role of Joel and Ellie have not actually played The Last of Us. So when Pascal found out details of the final gameplay, he could not believe it at first.

Steven Yeun and Pascal were on Variety’s Actors on Actors series when this conversation took place. Yeun was talking about his experience of playing the game. He revealed how he played the game for “12 hours straight” and completed it during the time when he was working on The Walking Dead. Yeun described how at the end of The Last of Us, the player had to simply walk through the forest. Here’s how the conversation between the two stars went:

Yeun said, “I don’t remember what season it was, but when the game came out, I remember I played it 12 hours straight, down to that last…where you just push the characters forward as they’re having that last beautiful scene you have.” Pedro replied, “Are you serious?” and Yeun added, “Nothing happens. You just walk through the forest.” That’s when Pedro Pascal joked, “You’ve told me more about the game than the creator of the video game.” You can watch this interaction below.
