The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – New Game Update Patches Duplication, Zuggling and Other Glitches

Nintendo isn’t messing about, when it comes to dealing with players taking advantage of glitches in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Earlier this week, players have been abusing a variety of glitches such as duplication, and an overpowered weapon system abuse called “zuggling.”

For a while, these glitches and several others allowed players to cheat their way through several barriers. However, Nintendo has cracked down on all of it through Tears of the Kingdom’s newly released update version 1.1.2.

The duplication glitch allowed players to disrupt Hyrule’s economy by duplicating any item they want. This included materials, weapons, and many more. However, all that’s gone with the latest update, and if you have enabled auto-update then, chances are you won’t be able to do it again.

On the other hand, zuggling takes advantage of Tears of the Kingdom’s new Fusing mechanic. The new ability allowed players to join items or materials together to create more powerful weapons with increased durability.

However, with zuggling, players can stack multiple weapons over each other. This allows players to hit enemies with combined attacks and elemental effects, which helps them one-shot enemies.

Players had their fun with these glitches for the past few days. However, with the recent update, players can now bid farewell, as many community members have reported that they no longer work.
