The new Fire Emblem update adds a few small quality of life changes
Version 1.3.0
Fire Emblem Engage is up to its third patch, though surprisingly (perhaps a relief to some) none of them have been extremely meaty thus far: this newest version included.
In a move that I’d call adding “small quality of life changes,” version 1.3.0, which was released late last night (US time), a few mechanics have been altered amid the arrival of Wave 3 of the expansion pass. Beyond the additions of Chrom, Robin, and Veronica: the patch also has two changes, in addition to “issues that have been fixed to make for a more pleasant gaming experience” (thanks for the specifics!).
For one, you’ll be able to exchange items at the ancient well in the Somniel hub, after talking to the proprietor of the armory. You can also use inherit skills in the arena. Small potatoes for sure, but hopefully all of these patches will sprinkle in quality of life changes like this: just like the prior February 8 patch added the recreation interaction to the pool, orchard, and stable zones in the hub.
More features in the hangout hub is a great thing! Though all of this might not be enough to sway folks who were already turned off by Engage. Hopefully the upcoming story content mixes things up.
