Since the pandemic, the office moved online and video-conferencing apps and meeting tools became the centre of people’s work culture. One such app is Microsoft Teams. Now Microsoft has introduced four new features which further enhance the meeting experience of Microsoft Teams users.
Here are the four new features:
Assign seats in Together mode
In the Together mode, you can place all chat members on a single shared screen making it appear as if you are sitting together with your family members in a virtual living room. With the new feature in place, the meeting presenters can now assign seats to participants in Together mode.
Create video clips
Microsoft Teams now allow users to create short video clips to express themselves in a better manner. Users can record, send, and view a video clip in chat. The recipient of the video clip can easily reply with a chat message or a video clip of their own. This feature is presently available on desktop and will be in public preview in mobile by end of the year.
Pop out shared content into a separate window
Earlier, users could pop out individual Teams chat conversations, meeting, and calling experiences into a separate window to help streamline the workflow. Now they can also pop out shared meeting content in a separate Window. With this feature, users can now see both content shared and meeting participants in the same frame.
Microsoft 365 connected templates
The best Microsoft Teams templates is being combined with SharePoint site templates – into the same flow of creation. When a user creates a new team using a default template – for example, the Manage a Project template, the project management channels and apps, and the connected SharePoint template will get applied automatically.
