These Oppo smartphones will receive Android 11 update in India this month – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Oppo has announced that it will roll out Android 11 update to more smartphones in India this month.
The company has confirmed that the Oppo A53 and the Oppo F17 will start receiving Android 11 updates by June 17 and June 26 respectively. These devices will also receive ColorOS 11 beta version update this month along with Oppo A54 and Oppo Reno, which will receive the updates from June 16th and June 29th onwards, respectively.
Apart from the above mentioned smartphones, Oppo also said that the Oppo A52, A5 2020, A9 2020, F11, F11 Pro, F11 Pro Marvels Avengers Limited Edition, F15, F17 Pro, Find X2, Reno 10x Zoom, Reno, Reno2 F, Reno2 Z, Reno2, Reno3 Pro, Reno4 Pro have started receiving the official version of ColorOS 11.
Oppo also mentioned that the 3GB RAM variants on Oppo A5 2020 and Oppo A9 2020 will not get the latest software update due to low RAM storage.
With ColorOS 11, the Oppo smartphone users will be able to experience new UI customisations like three finger translate, FlexDrop, private system and more. Along with this, the users will get the various Android 11 features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
Recently, Oppo confirmed that it will soon launch a new smartwatch. Oppo has revealed that it will launch the Oppo Watch 2 series smartwatch. The teaser image shared by the company confirms that the smartwatch will come with a square dial. The company has also confirmed that it has entered into partnership with Ambiq for Apollo 4s low-power chip which promises to offer long battery life to the device.
