This budget Redmi smartphone is receiving Android 12 update – Times of India
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 smartphone in India in February this year. At the time of the launch the smartphone came with Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box. The company has now started rolling out the Android 12 update for the smartphone globally.
Redmi Note 11 has now started receiving a stable MIUI 13 update based on Android 12. The major software update also brings along the security patch for the month of June 2022.
The new update is said to improve system stability and bring some new and fresh features to the smartphone.
In an official blog post, Xiaomi said, “As of today, the long-awaited Redmi Note 11/NFC Android 12 update has been released. The released Redmi Note 11/NFC Android 12 update improves system stability, brings you new features and brings with it the Xiaomi June 2022 Security Patch. The build numbers for this update are V13.0.2.0.SGCMIXM and V13.0.2.0.SGKMIXM. Let’s take a look at the changelog of the update.”
The update weighs 2.7GB in size and is said to offer enhanced system security and accessibility support to the smartphone.
The latest OS offers an all-round upgrade and improved core experience. Providing improved performance, refined design, and multitasking features, MIUI 13 brings faster storage, higher background process efficiency, smarter processing, and longer battery life.
Along with this, users will also get to use the native Android 12 features which include privacy dashboard, remote app, better Wi-Fi sharing, one-hand mode, Material You interface and more.
