Hot Toys has a very strong track record when it comes to producing Batman figures that look just like the actors who inspired them, but they may have outdone themselves with their latest release. Sideshow Collectibles has just revealed Hot Toys’ Batman (Modern Suit) 1:6 Scale Figure inspired by Michael Keaton’s appearance in The Flash, and it’s so lifelike it’s a little bit scary.
Head to the slideshow gallery below for a closer glimpse of this amazing figure, but beware. He looks like he wants to get nuts.
These photos also give us an even closer look at Keaton’s new Batsuit in the movie. The suit clearly combines elements of the classic Batman and Batman Returns suits while also reflecting the more tactical (and flexible) approach taken by modern Batman movies like The Dark Knight. The trailers make it clear that this Batman is far more limber than he ever was in the Tim Burton movies.
This new Batman figure includes all the bells and whistles collectors have come to expect from Hot Toys, including both masked and unmasked head sculpts. Both heads even include independently adjustable eyeballs. The masked sculpt also comes with three interchangeable faceplates with different expressions (including the signature Keaton smirk seen above). That’s in addition to the usual assortment of alternate hands, weapons, a display base and other accessories.
The Batman (Modern Suit) 1:6 Scale Figure is priced at $305 and is slated for release in Q3 or Q4 2024. The figure is available to preorder now on the Sideshow website. Sideshow is offering an exclusive “first edition” accessory with preorders – a 1:6 scale Batman cowl with a display stand.
Is this Batman figure realistic enough to convince you to spend $300? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
The Flash opens in theaters on June 16. It will officially mark the end of the previous DCEU, though Warner Bros. is leaving open the possibility of a sequel for now.
