This iOS 16 feature will drain your iPhone’s battery, warns Apple – Times of India
With iOS 16 users can now turn on haptic feedback while typing. After turning on the haptic feedback users will notice vibration under their fingertips every time they type anything on the iPhone’s keyboard.
However, an online report suggests that turning on the haptic feedback will lead to battery drainage. As reported by 9to5Mac, Apple has warned its users in a support document that enabling the haptic feedback feature could have an impact on the iPhone’s battery life. “Turning on keyboard haptics might affect the battery life of your iPhone”, said Apple in the support document.
However, Apple has not revealed how much the battery will drain after turning on the haptic feedback. The report also adds that Apple has not yet included the haptic keyboard in the Low Power Mode. This means that if you enable the Low Power Mode then your keyboard haptics will not get disabled even if it drains the battery of your iPhone.
If you also wish to use haptic feedback on your keyboard then follow the below-mentioned steps:
– Open the Settings app.
– Go to Sounds & Haptics > Keyboard Feedback.
– Turn Haptic on or off.
