Tokyo Olympics Day 7: Google Doodle Champion Island Games offer Climbing as special game – Times of India

It’s Day 7 of Tokyo Olympics 2020 and also the Day 7 of Google’s Doodle Champion Island Games. Today’s special game is climbing. It is essentially a role-playing game. Participants play as the game avatar Lucky, the ninja cat who “explores Doodle Champion Island: a world filled with seven sport mini-games, legendary opponents, dozens of daring side quests, and a few new (and old ;)) friends,” Google says.
The gamer offers a fantastic world to explore. As mentioned above, participants will be required to compete for one of four teams across seven different mini-games. What is the game goal? The goal, Google says is to “defeat each sport Champion to collect all seven sacred scrolls—and complete extra hidden challenges across Champion Island in the process.”
Doodle Champion Island Games have been developed in partnership with Tokyo-based animation studio, STUDIO 4°C. As mentioned above, the game avatar is a ninja cat named Lucky.
The interactive doodle offers multiple games like table tennis, rugby, running, swimming, and climbing. They include fun animated cutscenes. Other than these mini-games, there are other side quests as well.
Those interested can begin playing the game by clicking on the doodle available on the Google homepage. Once you click on the Google homepage play button, the game will start with you in the avatar of Lucky. Here, you will be asked to choose a team. There are basically four teams — Red, Blue, Yellow, or Green.
