Fearless stunt
There’s one such scene in the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One where Tom Cruise can be seen riding a motorcycle off a large cliff with a parachute on his back. Recalling this scene, Kirby said Tom Cruise did the take multiple times in a day to get the shot right and showed absolutely no fear while doing it.
“He did it many times in one day. He did it consecutively … and repeatedly so he could capture all the different angles and sides of it … He was just so calm. He had no fear. He just found it exhilarating,” Kirby told Screen Rant.
“That kind of belief in cinema and what one could achieve and his passion for it is so inspiring. He kind of believes he can do the impossible and then he does… I love being a part of the franchise. I’m really excited to come back,” Kirby added.
Vanessa Kirby is set to return to the Mission: Impossible franchise as The White Widow, who made her first appearance in Mission: Impossible – Fallout in 2018. As for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, the movie will be released on July 12 this year.
