Top Gun: Maverick To Land in a Home Near You With Digital and Blu-Ray Release Featuring 110 Minutes of Bonus Content
Following a juggernaut run at the box office, Tom Cruise will soon be splashing down in a home near you with the digital and Blu-Ray release of his recent action blockbuster, Top Gun: Maverick.
The sequel to the hit Tony Scott-directed 80s action flick debuted in theatres earlier this year to much fanfare from Tom Cruise’s massive fandom, as they waited around 36 years to see the actor don the fighter pilot suit of Pete “Maverick” Mitchell.
The film has a stacked cast of stars which include Miles Teller, who plays the son of his former wingman and best-friend Goose. Along with Teller, the movie also features the returning Val Kilmer as Iceman, Jennifer Connelly as Maverick’s love interest Penny and Glen Powell, who plays a hotshot fighter pilot by the name of Hangman.

The film will first have a digital release next week on August 23, with the physical 4K Ultra HD and Blu-Ray releasing on November 1 with around 110 minutes of bonus content for fans to feast their eyes on.
The bonus content will shed more light on the filming of Top Gun: Maverick, which required hours of training for the cast to endure the G-Forces they would pull while shooting in a fighter pilot. We will also see how the filmmakers shot many of its eye-popping aerial sequences as well. Along with many other featurettes, Tom Cruise will showcase his piloting skills while taking his vintage World War II P-51 Mustang on a ride, with the actor further talking his career during the film’s screening at the Cannes Film Festival.
