Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic ‘rejects Arsenal’ and Fiorentina ‘think he has agreement’

Fiorentina believe star striker Dusan Vlahovic already has an agreement in place with his next club, according to reports in Italy. The Serbian sensation, who helped his country reach Qatar 2022 with a stunning win against Portugal on Sunday night, is one of the most highly sought-after players in European football right now.

He blasted home 21 Serie A goals in 37 outings last term for an underwhelming Fiorentina side and Vlahovic has picked up where he left off this term, too.

The 21-year-old already has eight goals to his name in the league, netting another two in the Coppa Italia.

Vlahovic has been selected ahead of man of the moment Aleksandr Mitrovic for the national side as he netted four goals in eight World Cup qualification matches.

His stock continues to rise with every game that goes by with Fiorentina now anticipating a bumper pay-day in the near future.

Di Marzio has since told TuttoMercato that Fiorentina believe Vlahovic has already agreed a move to his next club, although the identity of that side remains unknown.

Tottenham are also in contention after technical director Fabio Paratici held talks for the forward last summer.

Spurs were unable to agree a deal though but could now return to the table, particularly now Antonio Conte is in charge.

The new Tottenham manager is believed to be a fan of Vlahovic from his time with Inter Milan.

But the two north London clubs are not the only team in contention for his signature.

Manchester City and Atletico Madrid are also believed to be keen on signing Vlahovic, who is now expected to depart by the end of next summer’s transfer window.

Atletico reportedly agreed a deal worth around £60m for the goal machine last summer before the deal broke down.

Vlahovic was believed to be keen on staying in Florence but the club were unable to match his wage demands during contract talks.
