Tottenham team news vs Everton as Conte left with Kulusevski dilemma
Tottenham will be looking to keep pace with Premier League leaders Arsenal when they welcome Everton to north London on Saturday. Spurs have won six of their top-flight matches this season and currently trail the Gunners by four points. Boss Antonio Conte will be faced with a selection headache as he looks to manage players’ gametime during an intense period of Premier League and Champions League action. Express Sport takes a look at the starting team Conte could roll with.
Goalkeeper – Lloris
Hugo Lloris has been a rock between the posts under Conte and kept his fifth clean sheet of the season against Brighton last weekend. The France international, who has won 139 caps for his country, is yet to miss a second of action this season and will start in goal once again.
Defence – Davies, Dier, Romero
Conte could bring Ben Davies back into his defence after handing Clement Lenglet a Champions League start against Eintracht Frankfurt in midweek. Davies has started six Premier League matches this season, despite being forced to sit out the clashes with Leicester and Arsenal with a knee injury.
Davidson Sanchez and Lenglet will be available to Conte should he feel the need to rest players. But the ex-Chelsea boss could decide to keep Eric Dier and Cristian Romero at the heart of his backline as the Lilywhites attempt to build momentum following two wins on the bounce.

Forwards – Richarlison, Kane, Son
Dejan Kulusevski hasn’t played since mid-September after injuring his thigh and wasn’t fit enough to make the matchday squad against Frankfurt. And Conte has also confirmed that he is still not fit enough to make it back in time to face Everton, but may have a chance against Manchester United midweek.
Ex-Toffee Richarlison will be vying to get one over on his former employers from the outset. Richarlison could line up in a front three alongside Son Heung-min and Harry Kane, with the trio already contributing 20 goals between them in all competitions this season.
