Twitter rolls out fix for disappearing tweets issue – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Twitter has rolled out a new update which would prevent tweets from disappearing while users are reading them on the web. The social networking giant rolled out the fix after many users complained about the issue.
Some Twitter users complained about the auto-refresh feature. Auto-refresh is a good feature in theory and it’s definitely useful for live-tweeting but the refresh happens at some very inconvenient times, like right in the middle of reading a tweet. The timeline zooms back up to the top and the user loses track of what they were reading.
Twitter has finally rolled out a fix for this feature. The update is being rolled out for desktop and the company confirmed it via its Support handle. The company tweeted, “An update to the disappearing Tweet experience is rolling out for the web! Now you can choose when you want new Tweets to load into your timeline –– click the Tweet counter bar at the top.”
Recently, Twitter rolled out a new update for its Clubhouse rival — Spaces feature. The new update enables hosts of Twitter Spaces chats to record and share their broadcasts.
With this rollout, Spaces Recording will initially be available to a limited number of Twitter Spaces Hosts on iOS (and all listeners on iOS and Android), and within a few weeks expand to everyone else. With the ability to record Spaces and share them across the platform, Hosts are able to extend the value of their work past the moment during which a Space is live and listeners have the benefit of playing back the Space and sharing it across their timelines.
