Twitter Spaces gets ability to add two co-hosts via invite – Times of India
With the new addition, Twitter Spaces will have a main host, two co-hosts and up to 10 speakers. The update was announced by the official Twitter handle of Spaces. As per the post, co-hosts will help the main host in actions like inviting speakers, managing requests, removing participants and pinning Tweets.
“Making it easier to manage your Space…introducing co-hosting! – hosts have two co-host invites they can send – the table just got bigger: 1 host, 2 co-hosts, and 10 speakers – co-hosts can help invite speakers, manage requests, remove participants, pin Tweets and more!”, reads the tweet shared by Spaces.

In the tweet, the company has shared a GIF to show how the feature will work. The new ability to add two co-host has some limitations though. First, only the main host can add/invite others as co-hosts. One co-host cannot invite the second one. Moreover, Spaces conversation rooms can only be ended by the main host. The ability will not be available for co-hosts for now.
Twitter Spaces was introduced in 2020 as a rival to the then audio-only Clubhouse app. The company has been pushing the Spaces feature with new updates and features. Recently, the company rolled out an update that will allow users to directly tweet from a Live Space conversation on Android and iOS devices. The new ability to add 2 co-hosts shows how important Spaces is to Twitter, especially when it recently ended the Fleets.
