Koo is a micro-blogging platform like Twitter but has support for multiple Indian languages. An advantage over Twitter is that Koo allows users 400 characters for Koos (much like tweets), which is more than the 280 characters supported by Twitter.  Interestingly, Koo is one of the winners of the competition that was organised by MeiTY in 2020 for the best alternative to global apps. Koo is available both on desktop and mobile.
