Two Grand National horses collide as another gets stuck in fence

The Grand National chaos caused by protestors continued during the race as Lifetime Ambition fell during the race after colliding with a loose horse. The horse was brought down at the 10th fence by a horse that had lost its jockey earlier on during the 30-fence race, which is renowned as the biggest event of the racing calendar at Aintree.

In a horrendous incident captured by the TV cameras, the horse continued riding on without a jockey but hesitated to take the 10th fence.

And it led to a sickening series of events as two horses had nowhere to go as they collided, with Lifetime Ambition one of those caught up. Longhouse Poet had fallen moments before as several horses failed to make it over the finish line.

Green screens were raised after the race for privacy before being taken down later on, according to ITV Sport.
