SNOWBOARDING The men’s cross final will air live at 1 a.m. on the USA Network. Australia’s Jarryd Hughes is a favorite to win gold, along with Alessandro Hammerle of Austria, Lucas Eguibar of Spain and Martin Noerl of Germany. Nick Baumgartner, 40, the oldest member of Team U.S.A. across all 40 sports, will appear in his fourth Olympics.

ALPINE SKIING The Alpine skiing men’s combined competition got underway with the downhill phase on Wednesday night, and the slalom phase will air at 1:15 a.m. on NBC.

CURLING The United States men’s team will play Sweden in a rematch of the 2018 Olympic final at 1 a.m. on NBCOlympics.com. The women’s tournament has also started. The United States faced the Russian team on Wednesday night, and Denmark plays Canada on Thursday at 7 a.m.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING Two days after winning the first individual women’s cross-country skiing medal for the United States, Jessie Diggins will go for another medal in the 10-kilometer. Therese Johaug of Norway and Frida Karlsson of Sweden are expected to be strong contenders. USA Network will broadcast at 2 a.m.

FREESTYLE SKIING The Olympic debut of mixed team aerials will be on NBC starting at 6 a.m. Each three-person team in this event includes at least one man and one woman (with the third spot left up to each country).

SPEEDSKATING Irene Schouten of the Netherlands has already claimed gold in the 3,000-meter skate and is the favorite in the 5,000 meters. The Netherlands, Japan, Belarus, China, Poland, the Russian team and the Czech Republic race at 7 a.m. on NBCOlympics.com

HOCKEY Men’s teams continue their preliminary games, including the United States vs. China on the USA Network and Canada vs. Germany on NBCOlympics.com. Both begin at 8 a.m. The N.H.L. withdrew from Olympic participation, and the U.S. roster includes 14 active college players.

LUGE Germany is posed to clinch its third Olympic gold in the team relay event. Austria and Latvia are also considered contenders, and the United States can’t be ruled out for a medal. One woman, one man and one men’s doubles team from each nation speed down the track. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. on NBCOlympics.com.
