All the uber bookings, safety features, and insurance protection are now available on WhatsApp for all those who book their ride from the Uber app. Now it is easier to book trips.

Uber is now available on India’s most popular app Whatsapp. All the features of booking cabs, bikes, and autos are now on WhatsApp. From booking a ride to getting a trip receipt everything will be managed through WhatsApp. The feature was first tested in Lucknow on December 21. However, this feature will initially be available in the Delhi NCR region. 

The Meta-owned messaging app is the most popular in the country with over 400 million users. With the integration, users will not have to download the Uber App to book a cab.

Uber provides all the security features through WhatsApp. Maybe this feature will bypass the uber app completely if they want. Through WhatsApp, riders can book their rides in Hindi or English. Uber supports two languages i.e. Hindi and English.

How to book an Uber ride on Whatsapp?

– Send a ‘hi’ to +91 7292000002

– They will ask users about their pickup and drop location

– Then the user will receive all the information about the driver, charges, and expected time of arrival.

By messaging Uber’s business account number 

By scanning QR code

Directly click on a link to open an Uber Whatsapp chat.

Uber has also claimed that users will get safety features and insurance protection like booking cabs directly from the Uber app. Users will also see the driver’s name and license plate. Along with this, users will also be able to track the location of the driver.

In the WhatsApp chat flow, users will also be told about the safety guidelines. If users select the emergency option during the trip, they will get a call from Uber’s customer support team. This new service will be available for both old and new users.
