Ubisoft announces ‘The Crew Motorfest’, opens beta registrations – Times of India

Open-world racing series The Crew is getting a third installment soon. Ubisoft has unveiled ‘Crew Motorfest’, a sequel that is scheduled to release sometime in 2023. It is in the works at Ubisoft Ivory Tower Studio for a range of platforms, namely PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Amazon Luna.
Alongside the announcement, the gaming giant published a teaser trailer that gave a glimpse into the world of Crew Motorfest. It will focus on the “best experiences car culture has to offer” in the exotic Hawaiian archipelago.

Crew Motorfest will feature “hundreds” of vehicles and various Hawaiian locations
According to the information on the game’s website, “The Crew Motorfest builds on the legacy of The Crew franchise to make it the best open world action-driving experience in the series.” The game will apparently feature “hundreds of the most legendary vehicles,” which you can explore in single-player or with a crew.
Moreover, highlighting the diversity of locations, the website mentions, “Get ready to race through the city streets of Honolulu, go down the ashy volcano slopes, adventure deep in the lush rainforest, drift along the curvy mountain roads, or just chill down on the sunny beach.” It adds, “Evergreen car culture festival at the heart of the game, Motorfest has settled in the beautiful island of O’ahu, part of the Hawaiian archipelago.”

Registrations are open for Crew Motorfest beta access
Registrations are open for users who want to try the game before release. As part of its Insider Program, a limited number of people can try out the game right now, weeks ahead of launch.
The public beta will increase in size as its four phases come into effect. For the first phase, the game will take on board up to 2000 PC players. Accepted applicants will receive a mail confirmation. However, it’s important to note that the game progress will not carry over from the beta to the full release.
