Valorant: Global Esports CEO Reveals Talks With an IPL Franchise; Riot Announces a Charity-Themed Give Back Bundle

Esports organization Global Esports is one of the biggest names in the Indian gaming industry right now.

After joining the 30-team Valorant partnership program, GE has become the talk of the town, with many brands and companies wanting a piece of its newfound success and fame.

According to Global Esports CEO Rushindra Sinha, the organization has been approached by several brands including an Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team. (from AFKGaming)

As the only South Asian team in Valorant’s franchise program, Global Esports has also found attention from the glamorous world of Bollywood as well. However, at the moment, Sinha has kept mum on which brands and entities the team will partner with in the near future.

In other Valorant news, the developers at Riot Games have announced the return of the charitable bundle that players could currently purchase on the popular shooter title.

The 2022 edition of the Give Back bundle features weapon skins voted on by players from October 21-23. The initiative was introduced by Riot’s Social Impact team back in 2021, who approached with the idea of creating Valorant’s first in-game charity campaign.

As part of its charitable efforts, Riot Games will give 50% of the proceeds from weapon skins and 100% from the accessories to Riot Games Social Impact Fund in
partnership with ImpactAssets.

The skins that were selected for the 2022 bundle by Valorant players are Neptune Vandal, Gaia’s Vengeance Ghost, Forsaken Operator and Magepunk Spectre. The Give Back bundle costs 6,382 VP, with the skins being sold separately for 1,775 VP. Players can purchase these cosmetics from the store until November 30.
