Riot Games has revealed the trailer for the Oni 2.0 skin bundle for Valorant. The new skins in this series has a bunch of upgrades from the previous Oni bundle. The Oni 2.0 bundle will be available for purchase for 7100 VP. It will include the Onimaru Kunitsuna, Oni Vandal, Oni Bulldog, Oni Ares, Oni Frenzy, and various other cosmetics such as an Oni Card, Spray, and Gun Buddy.
According to Sean Marino, associate art director at Riot Games, the inspiration behind the Oni 2.0 skin bundle is a corrupted, powerful heirloom seeking revenge. “The Oni spirits have been lying in wait, determined to find a new path to exact their dark purpose on the world. The balance of traditional customs against the unrelenting power of progress has been upset, opening a rift between the worlds, allowing the Oni spirits to bring about the perfect combination of corruption and mischief,” he said.
The Oni series has been a popular one with Valorant players. “I really mean it when we say that we’re always paying attention to players’ feedback because the only reason we’re making more Oni is because players love it so much,” said Preetu Khanolkar, the lead cosmetics producer at Riot Games. She added that the new Oni skins have been in development for almost two years.
