Valorant: Riot Games Denies Recent Reports of Policy Changes Around Team Sponsorships for Gambling Companies, All You Need To Know
Turkish Esports news outlet Esporkolik recently reported about Riot Games changing its policy to accommodate gambling sponsors for its various competitive teams in Valorant.
Prior to the report’s release, Riot Games has always strayed away from gambling and betting companies for its competitive shooter title, with the developers not allowing teams to be sponsored by them. Moreover, organising committees of the game’s various tournaments are also prohibited from being associated with sponsorships from gambling companies.

The report talking about Riot’s new policy change suggested that the developers are willing to be more lenient for teams to gain new revenue streams. However, according to the sources of journalist Max Katz, Riot has denied making any policy changes to include gambling sponsorships for teams.
