Valorant: VCT Ascension Pacific 2023 Reveals Venue, Prize Pool, Schedule, Format and Other Details

Riot Games has revealed the details of the VCT Ascension Pacific. The company has unveiled the location of the LAN event for VCT Challengers Pacific, the prize pool, schedule, format and other details. Here’s all you need to know about this upcoming tournament.

About VCT Ascension Pacific 2023

This tournament will be the stepping stone for the countries to play in the International League of the Pacific Region. Riot Games has organised Valorant Challengers League in the countries that form a part of the Pacific Region in the past couple of months.

We don’t know which teams will represent South Asia and Oceania yet. However, the champion representatives for Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Philippines, and Indonesia have already been decided. The ten teams will be competing for a total prize pool of USD 100,000, in a LAN event to be held in front of a live audience in Bangkok, Thailand.

These champions will compete in the upcoming VCT Ascension Pacific 2023, which is set to take place from June 28 to July 9. Here’s the schedule.

VCT Ascension Pacific schedule

The ten days over which VCT Ascension will be taking place has been structured in two stages: Group stage and playoffs. Group Stage will begin from June 28 and end on July 4 at 11:30 am IST. Playoffs will be held from July 7 to July 9 at 2:30 pm IST each day.

Format

The Group Stages will feature two groups of five teams each competing against each other in a single-elimination round-robin format, best-of-3 format. The top 3 teams from each group will qualify for the playoffs. The top 2 teams will directly qualify to the semi-finals of the playoffs with the remaining four teams will compete in the quarter-finals. The playoffs will also be played in a single-elimination bracket with a best-of-three format. The grand finale will be played in a best-of-5 format.
