Valorant: Vitality Coach States That the Team Needs More On-Stage Experience to Be One of the Best as They Beat Global Esports

Team Vitality, one of the most popular esports teams in the world, has just finished their Valorant VCT LOCK//IN run. Though the players on the team are outstanding performers, it looks like they were not the most experienced at battling it out on the highest stage and lacked some international and crowd experience.

Vitality beats Global Esports in Valorant VCT LOCK//IN

Team Vitality were victorious against Global Esports during the opening matches of the competition. Both teams played against each other across 3 maps and the decision came to the final bout. The first map was Split, where Team Vitality won, second was Pearl and here Global Esports took home the victory. The third and final one took place on Lotus where Vitality took home the win.

Although Team Vitality received a running start, their time in the sun did not last for too long. Their match up against Leviatan was where the team showed their lack of experience in the competition. The overtime losses didn’t sit well with the team, which led them to being knocked out of the competition.

However, Team Vitality Coach, Salah Barakat believes their team is still one of the best in the scene according to a report by Dot Esports. After the match, Barakat stated that he is confident that Team Vitality is in the “upper echelon”. He added that to win in this game, “experience in front of a crowd” is needed, and this was the first “right” experience for all members of the team other than BONECOLD. He went on to outline that “Experience is going to be key” for the team in the future.
