Vampire Survivors 1.5 Update Releases On June 12

Developer Poncle has announced that Vampire Survivors will be getting a free update in the form of version 1.5, which is set to be released today, June 12.

Revealed during the PC Gaming Show 2023, the popular roguelite action game will be introducing some brand-new content in 1.5, including a new stage called Astral Stair. The announcement trailer showcased the map in question, which will feature “seemingly endless corridors, flying paintings, and a gameshow-like spinning wheel that triggers random events.”

The new game mode option called Randomize Minute Events will add the gameshow spinning wheel feature to the corner of the screen that starts special events every minute and decides what enemy waves the player encounters next. The feature isn’t limited to the Astral Stair stage, but can also be activated on any map with the use of the new Trisection relic. Additionally, if a player is in streamer mode, their Twitch chat can use the voting system to change the outcome of the game.

Alongside the Trisection relic, 1.5 will add the Chaos Rosalia relic that will provide changes to the character Yatta Cavallo “into their new form.” The change will also evolve their ability Cherry Bomb into a new attack.

Finally, GoldFinger is a new pickup that can make players invincible and supercharged for a short period of time. The way it works is determined by how many enemies the player kills and the high the number, the higher the chances of achieving “CosmicFinger.”

Vampire Survivors is now available on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile.
