NEW DELHI: As international travel opens up and more Indians are heading out for business and leisure. So, for a better user experience during international travel Vi has introduced new international roaming packs. The service provider claims that the new Vi international roaming packs will enable users to enjoy unlimited voice calls and data across global destinations.
As part of the new plans, the Vi post-paid customers travelling to UAE, UK, USA, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Australia, Thailand, Brazil and more can opt for Vi Unlimited International Roaming packs, starting from Rs 599 with 24 hour validity to Rs 5,999 pack that comes with 28 days validity.
The telecom operator also offers an ‘Always On’ feature on all Vi postpaid roaming packs which ensures customers do go get charged exorbitant rates while on international roaming even after the expiry of the subscribed pack.
For instance, if travellers who have subscribed to the 7 day Vi Postpaid Roaming Pack, have to extend their stay, they can continue to use their phone for voice, SMS and data, and will be charged standard rates till the user’s usage value doesn’t cross Rs 599.
The service provider further mentioned that after crossing Rs 599, users will be billed at Rs 599 for each additional day that they use the International roaming facility. This will prevent them from getting big bill shocks.
Along with this, the REDX customers with individual and family plans (primary members) can enjoy one international trip every year with a 7 days Vi International Roaming Free pack worth Rs 2999.
