Vi rolls out three new prepaid plans: Details inside – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Telecom operator Vi has introduced three new prepaid plans for its subscribers. The service provider has rolled out prepaid plans of Rs 98, Rs 195 and Rs 319. The plans come with limited validity and offer free access to Vi Movies and TV subscriptions.
Vi Rs 98 plan
Under the Rs 98 plan from Vi, the subscribers will get 200MB of data and 15 days of validity.
Users will also get the facility of unlimited calling as part of the plan. This new prepaid plan does not offer any free outgoing SMSes.
Vi Rs 195 plan
As part of the Rs 195 prepaid plan, users will get unlimited calling and 300 free SMS. The plan comes with a validity of 31 days and it also offers 2GB of total data. The new prepaid plan also offers a free subscription to Vi Movies and TV app.
Vi Rs 319 plan
Under the Rs 319 plan, Vi is offering 2GB data per day with unlimited calling support. Valid for the period of one month the plan also offers 100 SMS per day. Users will also get a free subscription to Vi Movies and TV app.
A recent report by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) revealed, Vodafone Idea (VIL) and Bharti Airtel recorded a minor decline in speed at 17.9 megabit per second (mbps) and 13.7 mbps, but in the last six months both the firms have been able to reduce the gap with Jio’s 4G download speed.
Jio’s average 4G download speed increased by about 2.5 per cent to 21.21 mbps in March from 20.6 mbps in February. VIL and Airtel network recorded 2.7 per cent and 8.6 per cent jump respectively in March compared to the preceding month. BSNL network registered a download speed of 6.1 mbps, the data showed.
VIL maintained its leadership in terms of 4G data upload speed in March. The company’s network recorded an upload speed of 8.2 mbps.
