NEW DELHI: A die-hard Cristiano Ronaldo fan, Virat Kohli slammed CR7 critics on Friday and came out in full support of Portugese striker saying the veteran player is 38 and still coming up with the top performance at the highest level.
Reacting on Ronaldo’s last night performance against Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in a friendly where the striker made his competitive debut for Saudi club Al Nassr.
The Portuguese gave fans a reminder of his talent when he scored twice in a friendly on Thursday, leading a team made up of players from Al Nassr and Al Hilal against PSG.

Though Ronaldo’s team lost 4-5, the highly-anticipated contest offered much entertainment to fans as long-time rivals Ronaldo and Messi shared the pitch together for possibly the last time.
Former Indian skipper Kohli put up a strong message, on his Instagram story, for the football experts who have been deliberately targeting Ronaldo for seeking attention in recent times.
“Still doing it at the highest level at 38.The football experts sitting and criticising him every week for attention and to be in the news are conveniently quiet now that he’s put in this kind of performance against one of the top clubs in the world. And he was apparently finished.”
