Vivo confirms launch date of OriginOS 3 – Times of India

Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date of OriginOS 3, its next generation operating system for its mobiles. The China-based smartphone maker will launch OriginOS 3 at the Vivo Developer Conference on November 8. Vivo shared a teaser regarding the launch. The company also added that the upcoming OS will be “more handy”. However, the company has not revealed any details about the OS.

The upcoming OriginOS 3 UI will be announced at the Vivo Developer Conference. The event titled “MORE, close to what you think”will also witness different sessions for IoT ecosystem, AI, privacy and security, game ecology along with the launch of the upcoming UI.

The features of the upcoming OriginOS 3 are still under wraps. It is expected that the company will majorly focus on delivering a light and smooth system experience to its users.

Vivo recently launched its latest V-series smartphone ‘Vivo V25 5G’ in the Indian market. The smartphone is now available for purchase in India from Flipkart and Vivo India e-store along with partner retail stores across. The smartphone comes in two colour variants–Surfing Blue and Elegant Black.
Vivo V25 5G sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset paired with 8GB/12 GB RAM and 128GB/ 256 GB inbuilt storage. Vivo V25 5G runs Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 OS.
