Vivo S12 series may launch later this month: Report – Times of India

Vivo may launch Vivo S12 series by the end of this month, a tipster wrote on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The series may consist of two smartphones — Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro. The launch time, if it’s true, will be around the same time when Oppo may launch the Reno 7 series.
The tipster says that while the Vivo S12 series smartphones may come with curved screens, Oppo Reno 7 series devices may offer flat displays. Vivo is said to opt for a 50MP camera for the Vivo S12 Pro model. No other specifications of the upcoming Vivo series are known yet.
Oppo, on the other hand, is said to offer three devices under the Reno 7 series. It may launch Oppo Reno 7, Oppo Reno 7 SE and Oppo Reno 7 Pro. As the name suggests, the Oppo Reno 7 SE is said to be the cheapest of all phones. It is tipped to come with MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. The handset is rumoured to have a 6.4-inch full HD+ display and may come with a 32MP selfie camera. The device may pack a 4,300mAh battery. The rear camera system may consist of a 64MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensor.
Oppo Reno 7, on the other hand, is likely to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. The smartphone may feature a 6.5-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to offer a 50MP main sensor paired with a 16MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensor.
Oppo Reno 7 Pro, the top-end phone under the series, is said to have a 6.5-inch FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is tipped to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and house a 4500mAh battery. It may offer a 50MP main camera at the back with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B ultra-wide sensor, and a 13MP telephoto camera.
