Vivo tipped to launch Y53s smartphone on August 9, may come with 8GB RAM and 64MP camera – Times of India
Vivo will launch its next Y-series phone in India on August 9. GadgetsNow has learned that the company is gearing up to launch Vivo Y53s smartphone in the country.
For those unaware, the smartphone was launched in Vietnam last month. It is a budget category phone and has a starting price of VND 6,990 in Vietnam (roughly Rs 22,000). Vivo Y53s comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor and offers a 16MP camera. Earlier in June, Vivo launched a 5G variant of the phone as well. It is not clear which variant the company will launch in India.
In India, the smartphone is tipped to be backed by a 5000mAh battery. It may be paired with an 18watt adapter with fast charging support. It may come with a 64MP primary camera at the back. Vivo Y53s, as per rumours, is expected to come with a 3GB extended RAM feature as well. It is rumoured to come in an 8GB RAM variant.
Vivo Y53s: Expected specs
As mentioned above, Vivo Y53s is already available in other Asian markets. The smartphone features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ screen having 1,080×2,400 pixel resolution. The screen comes with a 60Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Powered by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, the phone runs on FunTouchOS based on Android 11 operating system. It packs 8GB of RAM and offers a triple rear camera. The smartphone has a 64MP main sensor paired with 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors.
For selfies, it has a 16MP camera at the front.
