Vivo V27 Series confirmed to launch in India on March 1: Here’s what we know so far – Smartprix
The Vivo V27 Series launch date has officially been confirmed for India. The series will launch on March 1 as Vivo has sent an invite to the media and also confirmed the same via their official Twitter handle. The Vivo V27 Series will include Vivo V27 and Vivo V27 Pro smartphones.
The V27 Series will aim to compete with Google Pixel 6a as a mid-range phone aimed towards photography enthusiasts. Currently, Pixel 6a has the best camera in Rs. 30,000 segment and since the camera is one of the strongest points of Vivo phones as well, it will be interesting to see whether the new Vivo V27 will be able to disrupt Google Pixel 6a’s market or not.
Vivo V27 Series: Expected price
The vanilla V27 is expected to cost around Rs. 35,000 while the Vivo V27 Pro would be in the range of Rs. 40,000.
Vivo V27 Series: Leaks
The Vivo V27 teasers show off a premium design with a curved display. The front has a punch-hole display design. The official images indicate that the Vivo V27 will have a very slim profile and a lightweight design, which will be the USP of the device. The back will have 3 cameras accompanied by a unique-looking flash.
Vivo V27 Series: Expected & Confirmed specs
The leaks claim that the Vivo V27 could pack a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset while the Vivo V27 Pro might have an 8200 chipset. Both smartphones will have a 60-degree screen curvature displays with a punch-hole cutout for selfie snapper. The display will have a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and an FHD+ resolution for the display panel. Vivo V27 Series will run Android 13 with Funtouch skin out of the box.
The primary cameras will have OIS support and the smartphones will have Vivo’s signature color-changing glass back design. The Vivo V27 and V27 Pro will come in 2 storage models- 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 12GB RAM/256GB storage.
