Vivo X80 series launch date in India officially revealed

This week, the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro prices in India were leaked, which further suggests that both smartphones will be coming. Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming Vivo X80 series.

According to a couple of reports from Pricebaba, the Vivo X80 India price will be somewhere below Rs 56,990 (retail box price) while the Vivo X80 Pro’s price could be just below Rs 86,990 (retail box price).

The Vivo X80 will arrive with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage while the Vivo X80 Pro will be available in 12GB RAM and 256GB configuration.

The Vivo X80 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device runs on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 on top.

In the camera department, the Vivo X80 delivers a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary camera with OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto lens on the back. The rear camera system is backed by Zeiss optics, Zeiss T* coating, and V1+ chip. On the front, there’s a 32MP camera for selfies.

The Vivo X80 houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, 5G support, and more.

The Vivo X80 Pro, on the other hand, sports a QHD+ AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a similar screen size as the vanilla model. The Pro model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The 4,700mAh battery inside the Vivo X80 Pro supports 80W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The device also gets a more powerful rear camera system that includes a 50MP primary camera, 48MP wide-angle lens, 12MP portrait camera, and an 8MP periscope lens. A 32MP camera on the front takes care of selfies.
