Vivo X80, X80 Pro launched in global markets, India launch expected next week – Times of India
Vivo launched its flagship X80 and X80 Pro smartphones in China last month. The company has now launched its new high-end smartphones in the global market. The smartphones are available in Malaysia starting today. The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro in India on May 18.
Vivo X80 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, while the X80 packs MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. Both the smartphones support 80W fast charging and sport a 32MP selfie shooter.

Vivo X80 Pro features a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with 1440×3200 pixel resolution.
The display offers 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OriginOS on top.
As mentioned above Vivo X80 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 256GB and 512GB.
The dual SIM Vivo X80 Pro features a quad rear camera powered by Zeiss optics. The smartphone camera comprises of 50MP main camera with the first Samsung GNV sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle, a 12MP 50mm 2X portrait and an 8MP 5X periscope telephoto camera
The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter. Vivo X80 Pro also comes with the company’s own V1+ custom chip which claims to offer better and bright images in low light conditions.
Vivo X80 Pro comes equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IP68 rating which makes it dust and water-resistant. The smartphone houses a 4700mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging support.

Vivo X80 runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of customisation. The smartphone features a triple rear camera which consists of a 50MP main camera with the first Sony IMX866 RGBW sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and a 12MP 50mm 2X portrait camera. There’s also a 32MP front camera for selfie lovers.
Vivo X80 comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
