Vivo has slashed the price of its budget smartphone Vivo Y16 in India. Launched in 2022, the smartphone comes in two variants 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The Chinese smartphone maker has now slashed the price of its 64GB variant.

Vivo launched the 64GB version of Vivo Y16 at Rs 12,499. The smartphone has now received a price cut of Rs 1,000 and it can now be purchased at Rs 11,499. The smartphone comes in two colour options — black and gold.

The Vivo Y16 boasts a 6.51-inch HD display with 1600×720 pixel resolution. Its design features a sleek 2.5D curve with rounded corners, providing symmetry from both the front and back.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. In terms of storage, the smartphone offers extended RAM 2.0, combining 4GB RAM with 1GB of Extended RAM. It also includes a triple card slot that supports memory expansion of up to 1TB.
