wanda: Marvel’s Scarlet Witch arrives in Fortnite as part of Doctor Strange 2 crossover – Times of India

Fortnite has added Marvel superheroine Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch as a character skin. A full character set of her has come to the battle royale game and can be found in the Item Shop. Scarlet Witch is considered to be one of the most dangerous Avengers because of her reality-warping powers that she has found difficult to control at times, leading to disastrous events.
If you have just been following the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), you’ll know her as Quicksilver’s sister and Vision’s love interest but if you have read the relevant comics too, you know that she also happens to be Magneto’s daughter. Now, the version that’s come to Fortnite is the MCU one, and it is a part of the crossover event with the Doctor Strange film titled ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘. Dr Stephen Strange also recently arrived in the battle royale game as an NPC.

Now, let’s look at the various Scarlet Witch items in store for you in the game. There is the Scarlet Witch Outfit which comes with Wanda’s Cloak Back Bling. Both light up with Chaos Magic when dealing damage to the enemies.
There will also be a Chaos Hand Axe Pickaxe in the Item Shop. It is “a tangible construct of magic energy” and also the Psychic Energy Manipulation Emote “for displaying psionic power.”, as per Epic Games. All these four items are part of the Scarlet Witch Bundle and can be either purchased as the full Bundle or individually. The bundle also includes the Through the Mirror Dimension Loading Screen.
