Want to try Android 14 Beta 2? Check full list of supported smartphones | Digit

At the recently concluded Google I/O conference, the search engine giant introduced to the world the most anticipated devices like the Pixel Fold, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet. Not just that, Google also announced the Android 14 Beta 2.

In case you don’t remember, Android 14 was first announced at the Developer Program in February 2023 and then from April onwards the Beta version was available for Pixel devices only. But after the announcement at the Google I/O now the new Android version will be available for certain smartphone brands but only for particular devices of the brand.

The brands include: Xiaomi, OPPO, OnePlus, Realme, Nothing, Vivo, iQOO, Tecno and Lenovo. Now let’s have a look at which devices from these brands will get the new Android 14.

OnePlus

As of now only one device from OnePlus has been confirmed for the Android 14 beta version. But soon more will join in and OnePlus also had a blog on this particular topic as well. So, the device that will support it at the moment is the OnePlus 11 series.

Vivo

At the moment even Vivo has just one phone that will support the Android 14. It is the newly launched flagship smartphone: Vivo X90 Pro. But Vivo will also soon be rolling it out for more devices.

Xiaomi

So, Xiaomi has received a lot of criticism for late updates but it has decided to take a stand and be one of the first to receive the Android 14 Beta 2 update. It has more than one device to offer thankfully. The devices are- Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 12T.

OPPO

Oppo has made it official that its new foldable devices will support the Android 14 beta 2 as of now. Hence, the devices come down to just the OPPO Find N2 5G and OPPO Find N2 Flip.

iQOO

iQOO also has just one device at the moment which will support the Android 14 beta 2 viz. Its flagship device: iQOO 11.

Realme

Realme is well known for having super fast updates, hence it’s no surprise that Realme was supposed to be on this list without any questions asked. So, amongst the Realme devices there is one at the moment: Realme GT 2 Pro.

Nothing

Nothing is a very new brand for smartphones. Hence, at the moment it just has one smartphone, the Nothing Phone (1). So, absolutely they’ll be bringing in the Android 14 Beta 2 for this device. But there are rumours that the Nothing Phone (2) is coming soon. So, we can expect that phone to come with the Android 14 update as well.

Tecno

Tecno has a new series of phones which has been launched recently, the Camon series. So, from this brand the phones under the Camon series will receive the update. The phones included are- Tecno Camon 20, Tecno Camon 20 Pro and Tecno Camon 20 Premiere. Hopefully they’ll bring the update to their newly launched foldable as well.

Lenovo

Lenovo has announced the Android 14 beta rollout to its users but at the moment it is rolling out the update to its tablet only and not any smartphone. So, the Lenovo Tab Extreme will be a part of this update.

This was the list of devices that will support the Android 14 Beta 2. Surprisingly, no Samsung devices are a part of this update. This may be due to the recent conflict on adapting Bing as the default search engine. But, Samsung has its own OneUI Bet Program which will hopefully roll down the update soon to Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
