Warframe: Free-to-play action game Warframe to come to Android and iOS – Times of India

Third-person action game Warframe is getting an Android port soon, gaming studio Digital Extremes announced at TennoCon 2021. The mobile port will have cross-platform play and cross-platform save support, which means friends can join in some Warframe fun through the different compatible devices and not be stressed about losing their game progress. The studio also showcased how the gameplay is going to look on the mobile platform. Crossplay with PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch was also shown during the TennoCon2021. You can take a look at the gameplay here that’s been tested on an iPhone 12 device.

The Warframe mobile port has not got a release date for now but by the looks of how far the porting has progressed, the game might make it to the mobile platform soon. Warframe already has a Switch port that has struggled a bit when it comes to the game’s open-world environment with a lot of players.
Digital Extremes also announced an expansion pack to the game called New War which should launch sometime later this year.
To those of you who haven’t played Warframe yet, let’s just say that the game is known for its fast-paced gameplay that involves parkour-style movements, the whole idea behind it to simulate the responses and dexterity of ninjas if they were put in space, which is why the term ‘space ninjas’ has gained a following in the game parlance. Players can choose from over 30 customisable Warframes and join in with friends in intense co-op action. There are a total of 18 worlds to explore in the game which makes for a massive game world.
