The video clip of Lionel Messi taunting Netherlands‘ player, possibly Wout Weghorst, has gone so viral that it has found place on mugs and t-shirts in Argentina, who beat the Dutch on penalties and will face Croatia in the first semifinal of the FIFA World Cup on Tuesday.
While being interviewed after Argentina’s high-octane quarterfinal with the Netherlands on Friday, Messi kept looking the other way and then lashed out at the player: “What are you looking at fool? Get lost!” Messi said in Spanish.
