Watch: Team India’s photo session ahead of West Indies series | Cricket News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Indian players are seen posing for the customary photo session on the eve of the first Test as they prepare to begin the new two-year World Test Championship (WTC) cycle with a two-match Test series against the West Indies on Wednesday at the picturesque Windsor Park Stadium in Dominica.
The BCCI shared a video of its cricketers undergoing the rigours of the photo session in a studio. The likes of captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, star batter Virat Kohli, all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel are seen going for the shoot in the video.
Almost all the squad members can be seen enjoying the entire process of the shoot, with some visuals of Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj having some light moments during it too.

India, having suffered defeat in the inaugural WTC final against New Zealand in 2021 and a recent loss to Australia in the 2023 decider, will be determined to make a strong comeback in the new WTC cycle.
While the West Indies, reeling from the disappointment of failing to qualify for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup in India, will be hoping to find solace in a formidable performance against their Indian counterparts.
It has been 21 long years since the West Indies last secured a Test victory over India, and they face a stern challenge to break that streak.
