What time does MLB All-Star Game start? TV schedule, channel to watch 2021 AL vs. NL game

The stars align and reunite tonight in Denver.

It’s been two years since the last MLB All-Star Game, with the shortened 2020 MLB season not allowing time for a proper All-Star Game to take place. This year, All-Star weekend is back in a big way: A star-studded lineup in the Home Run Derby, the MLB Draft moving to All-Star weekend and all the bells and whistles baseball fans love about the All-Star Game.

While several big-name stars are sitting out the Midsummer Classic — Jacob deGrom, José Altuve to name a few — there’s more than enough starpower to hold your attention on Tuesday night. Shohei Ohtani will be making his first appearance in the All-Star Game; as will young sluggers Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Juan Soto.

What time does the MLB All-Star Game start?

  • Date: Tuesday, July 13
  • Start time: 7:30 p.m. ET

The finale of 2021 All-Star weekend, the 2021 MLB All-Star Game, is scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 13. 

Expect first pitch to take place just after 8:00 p.m. ET as the pre-game ceremonies and All-Star announcements will take up a decent amount of time beforehand.

What channel is the All-Star Game on?

 The 2021 MLB All-Star Game will be broadcast live on Fox, as is custom with MLB’s big games, including the World Series.
