Ken Burns’s four-part, eight-hour docuseries “Muhammad Ali” offers a sweeping look at the boxer, activist, humanitarian and one of the most consequential men of the 20th century. 

“Muhammad Ali” offers a sweeping look at Ali’s legacy. From his legendary nights inside of the squared circle to his fight for civil rights and against racism. 

The documentary includes insight from the likes of family members Ali’s daughters Hana and Rasheda, his second wife Khalilah Ali, his third wife Veronica Porche, and his brother Rahaman Ali. Also appearing are the likes of Todd Boyd, Bob Arum, Howard Bryant, Jerry Izenberg, Larry Holmes, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jesse Jackson and others.

The first episode “The Greatest” premieredp Sunday on PBS with the rest of the episodes coming on September 20-22 at 8 p.m. ET.
