WhatsApp brings unread chats filter – Smartprix
WhatsApp has recently released a new tool that lets users arrange their chats in a highly efficient way. The latest unread chat filter of WhatsApp shows all the unread chats at the top so that the user will not miss out on any important message from someone. The official announcement regarding the feature was made yesterday night. As of now, the feature is only available for WhatsApp for Android users. The feature will be soon available for iOS users too.
Using the feature is pretty easy as you just have to open WhatsApp on your Android phone, tap on the search icon, and then tap on the unread chat icon. After this, you will see the recent unread chats on top. You can simply exit the screen by tapping ‘x’ next to the search icon. Not only this, but WhatsApp is also bringing some more changes to the whole interface.
Now the users will not be able to click the screenshots of photographs that are sent in ‘view once’ format. Apart from that, all the users now will be allowed to leave a group chat silently. Only the admin of the group will get to know that someone has left the group. The meta-owned instant messaging company is also working on providing a quick window where the users can restore all the deleted chats.
WhatsApp Communities feature
Not only on the features mentioned above but WhatsApp is also working on much-awaited Communities features. The communities features will let the admins create a community by integrating several groups. As of now, a handful of WhatsApp beta version users have spotted the feature in the 2.22.19.3 version.
According to the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, the community tab will be available at the place of the camera tab. The users will have an option to add up to 10 groups in a single community. Though there is no confirmation regarding the release of the feature for the stable version of WhatsApp. We are expecting to see the feature for the stable version by the end of 2022.
