Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg too shared the support on his Facebook handle. “Launching more hands-free features for Ray-Ban Stories today. Now you can make calls, hear message readouts, and send end-to-end encrypted messages with WhatsApp. Soon you’ll also be able to directly reply to Messenger or WhatsApp messages with voice commands,” wrote Zuckerberg. In the picture shared with the posr, Zuckerberg seems to be wearing the Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses.

This means that the partnership will offer users of Ray-Ban Stories new hands-free features that aim to improve the compatibility with WhatsApp on both Android and iOS devices. The integration will allow users to make hands-free calls, send text messages and hear messages read aloud. Users can also take photos and videos as well as listen to music
WhatsApp support available only in these regions
The Ray Ban smart glasses users only in United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, and Australia will be able to experience this feature. The company has not yet rolled out the feature in India.

For those unaware, Facebook announced its foray into the smart glasses space with the launch of Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses in partnership with eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica in the year 2018.
